About

armas asi
(pronounced: ar-mas ah-see)

Armas asi  means ‘A Lovely Thing’ in Estonian. This is a tribute to my parents, heritage and upbringing. I was raised in a home where crayons, construction paper, and glue were never in short supply. I grew up in a home where my parents hung their own artwork, photography and paintings on the walls. Since the first marks I made on paper, I've always returned to the creative roots my parents nurtured in me.

If I think about it long enough and follow all the of choices I've made, my ventures off course, or the accidental meetings I've had, I would say
armas asi was always a part of me.

This blog is my journal, tracking my progress, celebrating my successes, and stumbling over some mistakes I'm sure to make. I hope I can inspire readers to try something new, to take risks despite challenges, or even pull out those old crayons and play for a bit!

Feel free to hang out for a while!

All the Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
Layin' in the sun,
Talkin' bout the things
They woulda-coulda-shoulda done...
But those Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
All ran away and hid
From one little did.
